Learn to Play: Nature

Community member Kat Heller will be teaching the board game Nature with its Climate expansion. Nature is a redesign of the blockbuster Evolution to be more streamlined, more forgiving, strategically deeper, and seamlessly expandable. The secret sauce is a modular system that allows players to create a unique ecosystem each time they play. Every combination creates a unique environment to discover.
Earth’s climate is never static. Ice ages advance and retreat, temperatures rise and fall, and environments transform. Some species adapt—growing thick fur or migrating with the seasons—while others disappear into the fossil record. Each dramatic shift in climate marks a turning point in evolutionary history, writing a new chapter in the epic story of life on Earth.
Participants will receive a Village Geek Rewards sticker and the opportunity to purchase Nature and its expansions at a 10% discount.
Learn to Play: Pirate Borg RPG

This is a free event, however those wishing to participate should sign up ahead of time (Call 785.370.3999 or stop by the store to sign up). Priority will be given to those who have preregistered. Limit 6 players.
Join local tabletop gaming enthusiast Aaron Pauls in an introductory one-shot scenario for Pirate Borg, the pirate-themed tabletop roleplaying game based on the same system as the award-winning RPG Mork Borg! No prior experience with the system is necessary.
Participants will receive a Village Geek Rewards sticker as well as a 10% discount on the purchase of any "Borg" RPG product by Free League Publishing.
Learn to Play: My Little Pony TCG

Join us for a My Little Pony TCG Learn to Play event! With the release of Set 2: Discord, now is the perfect time to jump into the game and see what it's all about.
We'll walk you through the basics of the game and help you get comfortable playing your first match. No prior TCG experience is needed, so new players are more than welcome!
Learn to Play: LEGO NINJAGO - Destiny's Bounty Adventures

LEGO: NINJAGO – Destiny’s Bounty Adventures is a co-operative family board game in which you and your fellow ninja will go on thrilling adventures, facing serpents, pirates...and even a bewildered postman.
In the game, villains are attacking the great ship Destiny's Bounty, and the ninja must defend their ship! To defeat the villains, you must unlock your ninja potential. Upgrade your skills and work together with your fellow ninja using your unique abilities to thwart the villains' plans to conquer the ship.
Camaro will be teaching. Participants will receive a Village Geek Rewards sticker.
